JTECK Consulting was founded in Langley, BC, with a vision to support businesses in harnessing the power of their data. Experienced Leadership
Our Founder
James Profitt
James has over 20 years of experience developing software, writing code, and managing data of all types. He worked in the UK as a SAS (c) Consultant in finance for many years before emigrating to Canada in 2010. He then worked for a transportation company doing IT Support, before managing their database software, improving many of their legacy tools and making life easier for many of their customers across North America. He then worked for a large utility in BC where he worked on the core analytics system, taking care of various AMI data pipelines, as well as developing novel analytical techniques. He has many years of experience in many diverse programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, Delphi, Javascript; database systems including DB2, Postgres, SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle.
